I made this Granny Square Lap ghan while I was in California for one of my daughters for Chrismas 2008. I also made Lap ghans for my mom and dad. I posted photos to my View All Designs Album.

I've been working on an afghan for one of my daughters. I am trying to surprise my daughter for her birthday which is the end of October, I told her it was her Christmas present. It is my own design and the colors are black and pink. The pattern is just a little different than most afghans out there. Along with the flower pattern I am making solid squares. I have always loved doing crafts. I

I was in Yuma Arizona recently on my way back from California, I saw that there was a Jo Ann's Craft store at a mall they had off the 8 Freeway.  I told my hubby that I wanted to stop there so we did.  I really liked the wide selection of yarn that the store carried.  I couldn't resist purchasing one of the crochet books they had. It kind of reminded me of A.C. Moore that they have out here in Charleston SC. Once I get rested from the long trip I'm goi...
